These workshops can be used by a small hobbyist or commercial enterprises. The workshop spaces come with electricity, water, and a bathroom.

Essential Storage Tips

  • Design your storage space in such a way that a walkway is present to the rear of the unit.
  • Make sure to fill your containers to their capacity. Partially filled or overfull bulging containers may collapse or tip over. The heaviest items should be placed at the bottom, while the lighter items should be on top.
  • Frequently used items should be placed at the front of the unit.
  • Arrange pallets on the floor to help with air circulation.
  • Name all your boxes and create a master list of the labeled boxes.

Storing Your Possessions With Care

  • Records: Store records on the edge to prevent warping. Be sure to secure the turntable and tonearm of the record player.
  • Books: Pack your books flat to protect their spines.
  • Windows and mirrors: Never leave your windows or mirrors flat. Be sure to store them on the edge.
  • Appliances: Make sure that your appliances are clean and completely dry before storing them. Leave the door slightly open for air circulation.
  • Lamps: Delicate lamp shades should be packed separately. Avoid using newsprint as packaging material. They could leave ink stains.
  • Tools: Metal tools should be cleaned and treated to prevent rust. Long-handled items like rakes and hoes should be tied together in bundles or put in a garbage can.
  • Furniture: Place your sofas and mattresses standing on the end. Make sure that the upholstery is not on the floor. All the legs of the furniture must be wrapped in paper. Dust covers must be placed over the furniture. Place sheets or cardboard on the floor to protect your furniture.
  • Mattresses: If you're leaving your mattresses upright, make sure that they're propped up to stand straight, else they may bend and become lumpy. Place mattresses on cardboard or sheets to protect them.
  • Boxes: Never place boxes directly on the concrete floor. Always place them on pallets, tables, cardboard, or sheets.
